Mileham What will we be doing?
Slowing down into our bodies, we will create new possibilities of listening to the inner movements naturally happening within ourselves - our first intimacy. We will also subtly listen to another in movement, providing the presence for them to deepen into themselves, while we root ourselves. Practices will involve individual and partner work, as well as circle time. Is this for me? This workshop is open to all, dancers, therapists, performers, researchers and particularly to those who are interested in entering sensitively into the experience of their own body and movement. If you are finding the need to slow down... If you are looking for a deeper grounding into yourself through a bodily experience, feeling resourced and nurtured, finding more spaciousness and relaxation, then this workshop is definitely for you. What to bring? Clothes - The nature of the work requires to wear layers of comfortable clothing - warm and cold. You may also wish to bring knee pads if you have them. Food & Drink - Bring your own bottled water. Class held by Uma Laurence Clapdorp |
